What's new in KrewDash: September 2026

September in KrewDash: a team map with territories for door-to-door reps, a lead pipeline, a shared booking calendar, commission tracking with an optional ladder, service plans reps can send, and click-to-call with missed-call text-back.

KrewDash canvassing map showing colored door pins with rep names and a legend that filters by tag

The short version of September: door-to-door reps now work from a shared team map with territories, every unbooked lead has its own pipeline, your crew shares one booking calendar, rep and tech commissions calculate themselves, and a missed call can text the caller back on its own.

Here is what changed, grouped by what it does for your business.

What is new for door-to-door sales teams?

The canvassing map went from a place to drop pins to a full team view.

  • The map is a team view. Every door, from every rep, in one place, with the rep's name on each pin.
  • Mark a door in two taps. Each door gets a symbol and a color for its status, and the legend filters the map so you can look at just the callbacks or just the quotes.
  • Draw a territory and say whose it is. Sketch a patch on the map, assign it to a rep, and reshape it later by dragging its corners.
  • Callbacks come back. Schedule a callback on a door and it returns to the rep. Doors also count how many times they have been knocked.
  • Doors are not lost when the signal is. A door marked with no signal is kept.
  • Plan the day. Day routes, drive previews and one-tap navigation in Google or Apple Maps.
  • A real funnel. Doors knocked, conversations, quotes and bookings per rep. The close ratio is worked out from conversations, not from raw doors, so it reflects how well a rep sells rather than how many doors they tried.

When a rep books a job, the booking sheet now has a what-needs-doing checklist so nothing is missed on the way out of the driveway.

What is new for leads?

Unbooked leads now have their own home. The lead pipeline holds every lead that has not been booked yet, in four stages: new, contacted, follow up and quoted. When a lead goes nowhere you archive it with a reason, so you learn where leads drop off. The dashboard now shows booked work only, with a single tile for new leads.

Leads from Facebook and Instagram ads now come in as a job, the lead gets an automatic reply, and you get an alert. A daily check also watches each lead source and alerts the KrewDash team if one goes quiet or starts failing, so a dead ad connection stops looking like a slow week.

What is new for scheduling?

Your owner, reps and technicians now share one live booking calendar.

  • Reps can book on the half hour, and anyone with permission can move a job from any side.
  • You can cancel a booked job and put it back on the calendar, or rebook it.
  • Any job can repeat weekly, monthly or yearly.
  • Choose which Google calendars block bookings, and let a crew member publish a free/busy-only calendar with no sign-in needed. All-day events marked "Free" no longer block a day.
  • The calendar shows what is blocked before you tap, so you can see a closed or fully booked slot up front.

What is new for crew pay?

Commissions now calculate themselves. When a job is booked and completed, KrewDash works out what each rep and technician earned, sends them a push or text when it is credited, and shows reps what they have booked but not yet earned. Two reps can split one job, and there is a rep leaderboard.

New this month: an optional commission ladder. After a set number of bookings in a week, two weeks or a month, a rep's rate steps up. The rate is frozen when the job is booked, so changing it never rewrites old jobs. It is off by default, and you can set the ladder for the business or per person.

What is new for service plans?

Reps can now see your business's recurring service plans, send them to a customer, and write their own quotes with a price, a title and the number of visits. The customer signs on a plan page. When they accept, KrewDash creates the confirmed visits and spreads them across the year, and the rep whose link was used is credited with the sale and each visit.

What is new for calls?

The calls feature now lets you call a customer from a job with one tap and keeps a call history. There is a missed-call list, each person can choose which phone rings, and when a call goes unanswered KrewDash can text the caller back straight away. The text-back is a per-business switch.

What is faster?

The app now paints from a per-account cache on launch, so it opens to your content quicker. You can also switch between saved accounts on a device without typing a password again.
