What's new in KrewDash: week of October 8, 2026
New this week: accept, decline or counter online booking requests, leads that move through your pipeline on their own, package proposals, and a door-to-door report.
This week KrewDash added three-package proposals with service plans that reps can present and have the customer sign on the phone, a way to accept, decline or counter a time a customer picks on your online booking form, and lead stages that move on their own. Door-to-door teams also get a new D2D report, a personal stats page for each rep, and a redesigned owner dashboard with a rep leaderboard.
How do I answer a customer who picks a time on my booking form?
A time picked on the online booking form is now a request, not a done deal. You answer it from the job page, the pipeline card or the new-booking notification.
- Accept it and the job is confirmed.
- Decline it and the customer gets a text with a one-time link to choose a new time. The declined time opens back up.
- Counter with another time. The time you offer is held for 24 hours, and the customer confirms by replying YES to the text.
- Customers hear back right away. They get a "we got your request" text the moment they submit the form, and a "we got your new time" text after they reschedule.
- If your day runs past midnight, you can set business hours that close after midnight (for example open at 11 AM, close at 1 AM). Those late slots show up correctly on the calendar and on the form, with a "next day" hint in Settings.
What happens to leads I don't touch?
The lead pipeline now moves leads along for you.
- A lead moves to Contacted when you send a decline or counter text, or when an automatic ad reply goes out.
- A contacted lead moves to Follow up after 24 hours with no reply from the customer, or when a counter offer runs out.
- A lead that gets confirmed, by any route, lands in the new Confirmed column.
- A customer who picks a new time from a decline link goes back to New.
- The Quoted column only appears for businesses whose reps quote, so owners who don't use it aren't looking at an empty stage.
Do customer texts all land in one place?
Yes. In the two-way text inbox, the confirmation, reschedule, cancellation and job-posted texts that KrewDash sends now show up in Messages, so you can see what the customer was actually told. A confirmation text also goes out when you confirm a lead from the job page.
What's new for proposals and service plans?
Reps can now pitch packages and recurring service plans together on one phone screen.
- Three packages. Minimum, Standard and Premium, each building on the one before it. Minimum covers windows and screens, Standard adds bugs and lights, and Premium adds gutters and the driveway.
- Pick how often. The customer chooses a one-time visit, twice a year or quarterly, each with its own discount, and picks the first visit right after choosing.
- Exterior or exterior plus interior. A toggle changes the price for both sides.
- Waive the travel fee. A travel fee can be shown as a discount. If the rep doesn't waive it, it is added to the price. The owner sets this.
- Customers sign on the phone. The signature is stored with the proposal.
When you book a window job, you can now count windows by how hard they are to reach, choose interior and exterior, and price screens inside and out. Your own prices come from Settings, and add-ons never change the price per window.
What's new for door-to-door sales teams?
For reps working the canvassing map and the reports:
- A D2D report for the owner. Pages for Reps, Places, Times, Funnel and Records show who is ahead and where a rep falls behind the team. Choose Today, This week, This month, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or All time.
- My Stats for each rep. A rep sees their own numbers, their commission and close rate, and how close they are to their personal best. They see other reps by rank only, never another rep's problems.
- Neighborhoods ranked. Mark a neighborhood on the map and see its numbers, the drive time from where you are, and sorts for closest and worth the drive.
What changed on the dashboard?
The owner dashboard has been redesigned around a revenue headline, a rep leaderboard with the owner crowned too, and job groups with compact cards. The leaderboard opens on This week, with This month and Last 30 days a tap away. A new Coming up list holds jobs more than a week away, so they aren't flagged as needing attention or open for claiming on the dispatch board until a week before the date.
